OUR SUSTAINABILITY COMMITMENT
Responsible Practices, Built Into Every Outlet From Day One
Sustainability isn’t an add on to our model, it’s part of how every outlet is designed. Our approach focuses on practical, achievable actions that reduce waste, prioritise responsible materials, and support circular practices wherever the environment allows.
OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Every outlet we design and operate is shaped by the same set of principles:
- Reduce waste wherever possible
- Choose responsible, low impact materials
- Support ethical coffee sourcing
- Operate energy efficient outlets
- Build circular systems that benefit local communities
These aren’t aspirations we’ll get to eventually, they’re built into how we design and launch every outlet from the outset.
ETHICAL COFFEE SOURCING

We source exclusively from suppliers who support responsible farming practices and long term sustainability within the coffee supply chain, because the coffee we serve should contribute positively to the communities and environments it comes from, not just the guests drinking it.
REUSABLE CUP PROGRAMMES

We design every outlet to reduce single use waste from the outset, introducing, where the environment allows:
- Deposit return schemes
- Incentive based reuse programmes
- Partnerships with reusable cup providers
Small shifts in guest behaviour, built into the outlet from day one rather than bolted on later.
RECYCLED & RECYCLABLE PACKAGING

Every outlet is specified with packaging chosen for recyclability or recycled content, prioritising:
- Recycled fibre content
- Low impact material choices
- Packaging that supports responsible disposal
We continually review materials against evolving sustainability standards, so this stays a moving target we stay ahead of, not a box ticked once.
RESPONSIBLE WASTE MANAGEMENT

Every outlet is designed around clear, responsible waste handling from the ground up:
- Clear waste segregation systems
- Recycling streams tailored to each location
- Minimising landfill contributions through proactive waste reduction
Sustainability isn’t a policy document, it’s part of daily operations, built into the outlet before it ever opens.
COFFEE GROUNDS COMPOSTING

Wherever local infrastructure allows, used coffee grounds are collected and repurposed for composting, supporting:
- Local circular economy initiatives
- Soil enrichment projects
- Reduced organic waste going to landfill
A simple, effective way to turn a by product of coffee service into a valuable resource.
ENERGY EFFICIENT EQUIPMENT & OPERATIONS

We select equipment with energy efficiency built in from the specification stage, and design workflows that minimise unnecessary power use, so high performance and low energy consumption aren’t a trade off.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Sustainability is an ongoing commitment, not a fixed checklist. As we grow, we’ll keep expanding our initiatives, exploring new circular systems, and working only with partners who share this commitment, evolving our practices as new opportunities and technologies emerge.
SUSTAINABILITY & SPECIALITY COFFEE

Exceptional coffee and responsible practice go hand in hand. Our commitments are designed to support the long-term health of the speciality coffee supply chain and the environments we operate in, so great coffee can be enjoyed for generations to come.
